The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a contemporary, experiential primary psychotherapeutic modality centered around the fine art of music and the skill of a trained guide. It can lead to insight, emotional release, and core integration of body, mind and spirit. GIM has proved effective in stress related, emotional, and physical disorders, and in recovery and addictions. It has also been used to promote creativity and spiritual growth.

At this site, sponsored by Mid-Atlantic Institute, we provide a discussion of the Bonny Method of GIM, a description of how it works, an overview of GIM's history and research, 2 case studies, and a list of books and other resources about GIM. We also provide an introduction to the Mid-Atlantic Institute, which offers comprehensive 3-level coursework to prepare skilled guides who are fully certified to practice GIM. An introduction to Mid-Atlantic's instructional staff and current schedule and fees are given as well.
